Skyjack was founded in 1985 in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, and grew rapidly through the 1990s to become a world leader in scissor lifts. The company was acquired in 2002 by Linamar Corporation and expanded into telehandlers and boom lifts, with manufacturing now spanning Canada, Mexico, and China.
